So it is with love to yall that I show you the Valentine boxes that I made recently. They are just the empty heart shaped Valentine candy boxes that I embellished with paper, fabric, lace, and other odd bits. Super easy, but a bit time consuming to get all the red covered with sheet music. Hope this inspires yall to make one of your own. Or if you would prefer instant gratification, these are avaliable in Binky la Faye now (325)-247-2500.

With Love
When I started this blog I never thought I would have "real followers". Little ole me posting from Little ole Llano, with my Daughter, my Momma, and my sister as my only followers for the longest time. I wish they would call it supporters, or maybe even just friends, but anyway I want to thank you all for being my blog friends and supporters. I'm so not tech savvy, and haven't figured out how to answer the comments yall leave me, but please know that I read and appreciate every one.

I'd definitely be an instant gratification type of Gal for the fabulous creations you've made because the labor of Love and creativity that goes into each piece is evident! *smiles* My fav Designer is Carol Hicks-Bolton and your boxes have that amazing faded time-worn unpretentious elegance and color palette that her decorating style always imparted and I fell in LOVE with years ago! What talent you have and I for one am SOOOOOOO glad that a fellow Blogger told me about your site... I predict you will have many more supporters once they discover you out here in the vastness of Blogland!

Wow. Binky, they are BEAUTIFUL! I want one. Now. {Is that instant enough for you?} I may be in Llano Sunday. Are they in the shop?
ReplyDeleteWhew, glad I had called this morning and bought the one I wanted before they're all gone! Be sure I will Blog about my beautiful Valentine when it arrives and link it over here so that others can enjoy your posts and beautiful pieces and get their own pieces of your creative fabulousness! May borrow your pixs and re-Blog them in that particular Post since you arranged them so beautifully together and I'll alas, only have the one to photograph from Home... we'll want them to get the whole Binky LaFaye experience!!! *wink... That tends to be a pattern with me, one of anything fab is never enough... I want it ALL! LOL*
ReplyDeleteRight now I'm taking a break from filling my orders for commissioned pieces, I'm so slow and my clients are so very patient... Note to self: Work harder and make the waiting lists shorter! That's why I come to Blogland for inspiration and conviction to spend more time making beautiful things to saturate our World with... Lord knows folks are tired of the ugliness.
Blessings... Dawn... The Bohemian
