ON EBAY

I decided to try selling some things on ebay this week.
Robin Brown of Magnolia Pearl is a dear sweet friend. She is one of the most generous persons I have ever had the honor to call my friend and we are true kindred spirits. I love, love , love all of her clothing. Because I'm sort of strapped for cash at this particular moment I decided to sell these bloomers. They are available and up for bids for the next 7 days on ebay. My user id on ebay is flashbacksouth, or just search for Magnolia Pearl. I also have some old bank checks from Navasoto Texas, wouldn't they be great in some altered art project? and this wonderful old Victorian or Edwardian night gown with such sweet lace and patches.

Thanks for stopping by.

OUT DONE

So a couple of weeks ago Tim Bolton (of Homestead in Fredericksburg,Texas) wanted to get his wife Carol a birthday present, and I suggested he get her a pair of the ruffled leggings we have at Binky la Faye. So since Carol is a sweet friend of mine I wrapped the leggings for him in a way I thought Carol would like and left the present setting on the table in the living room until the next time I was going to work at Homestead. Well my sweetheart takes a picture of the present with his phone, because he thought the wrapping was so wonderful. Here is a picture of the present I wrapped, It's okay, but not spectacular by any means although I will say that this picture doesn't do it justiceThen on Christmas morning, I get this present from him!!!!
Of course I wanted to know who he paid to wrap it.
But he said he was inspired by the present I had wrapped for Carol, and he did the wrapping himself!!!!

I LOVED IT!!!! it was so pretty, I didn't even want to open it, and after I did finally open it I made him wrap the empty box back. (by the way... there was a great pair of boots inside).
So I was out done at gift wrapping!!! What a dream man, he did good!!!

Llano Christmas Home Tour

So last year the Christmas home tour only had a couple of houses that were really decked out. I was glad that all the homes were decorated this year!!! I know there are a lot of pics, but there was alot to see. So here goes, This is the home of Ray and Patricia Hamm, they have the shop next door ours, called Whimsey's. Patricia was a really good customer at Binky la Faye when she was getting ready for the home tour!!! Thanks Patricia!!!

Love, Love, Love this little purse.

She got this doll dress from me five minutes after i displayed it.

wonderful collection of vintage glass ornaments
several of these vintage hard plastic ornaments came from Binky la Faye

The "tom" stockings were purchased from Binky la Faye!!

This sweet cottage belongs to Mrs. Billie Laning, who was my 8th grade enlish teacher. Her charming and talented daughter Belle decorated it.
Love the colors of these ornaments

She even had a tree in the bathroom!!!

This is the home of Bob and Linda Gammage. They decorated every room, including the guest house and office, and outdoor kitchen, so cute.
liked this clear glass platters on the wall.

This wonderful house has just been renovated by Phylis, one of the dealers in our shops. She did a fabulous job on this victorian, raising the roof to add an upstairs. Wish I had taken more pics.

We actually considered buying this house a few years ago, but it was in such state of disrepair that we just felt like we couldn't take it on, but look how cute it is now. They found 12 different patterns of antique wall paper during the renovation. They cut a small square of each one and framed them, so cute.

Okay I'm off to watch the lunar eclipse!!!
