Llano City Wide Garage Sale Finds

The Llano Main Street Program and the Freinds of the Historic Llano Red Top Jail put on the Llano city wide garage sale twice a year. The first one of the year was Saturday and I thought I would share some of my finds with you.

It wasn't a huge hall, but I love the things I found.

I've always been attracked to tiny little things.

Love this old violin with bow and case. It's in the store now, priced at $69.00.

Precious little string frame, aged to just the right color, also for sale at Binky la Faye ($12.00)

Look at this pretty 1920's ribbon flower brooch. It can be yours for $16.50.

More tiny bits, these I will use in making jewelry.

Wonderful little leather baseball glove, the lady I bought it from thought it might be a salesmans sample. I think it would lovely worn from a ribbon or chain as a necklace!!! Also available at Binky la Faye.

What is it about baby shoes?

This victorian velvet sewing bag caught my eye right away.

always love these old wooden tool boxes, this one has a wonderful shade of pink paint!! $18.50 at the shop now

So excited to find this for $5.00!!!I am adding this sailor's valentine shell art box to my collection of shell art (I'll show it to you sometime)

Mother of pearl buttons for 10 cents each, I will use this in pillow, and altered art projects.

Old fountain pen tips, I plan to make a necklace with these.

Neat old cloth tape measure

Love the metallic fringe on this old odd fellows fraternal ribbon

Lovely silk ribbon fringed shawl.

pretty metal mesh bag, lovely patina, not too shiny you know.

There was lots of lovely ephemera starting at 50 cents, here are a couple of pieces I picked up.
