@ L.A.S.T. or Llano Art Studio Tour

I was honored to be asked to participate in Llano's first annual art studio tour or @ L.A.S.T. If you remember one of my first post of 2011, one of my goals this year is to turn one of our outbuildings into my studio. (no progress made on that yet, keep your fingers crossed). So even though I am studio-less, unless you count the livingroom floor a studio, I was asked to participate by showing some of my work at another artists studio. There were five artists plus the studio owner at this particular location. There were 16 studios on the tour. I managed to break away from my booth long enough to see 5 of them, It was fabulous to see the artists working in their own environment. You really must plan to attend next year, the only problem is that it is during Warrenton, so I plan to try to get the date changed.

this is the wonderful compound of artist Linda Gammage, where I showed my work.

this is Linda's darling potters studio
Some of her pottery,
Some of my work
Gotta go get some junk, more studio tour in my next post, stay tuned. Oh and the Llano Fiddle Fest is this weekend in Llano, if you've never been to a fiddle fest you must come, Lots of old time fiddl'n goin' on. See ya next time!!!

  1. Binky, your talent is simply incredible!
I adore the lampshade, and that bracelet with the religious! You are a true artist, my friend!

  2. Binky your creations are just beautiful, I especially love the lampshade and Religious Medals necklace. I hope you get your Dream Studio just as you envision it! Our Son recently announced that he'll be getting his own place again and moving out of my Studio Cottage... I'm trying not to look too excited about reclaiming my Sapce so that I don't hurt his feelings. *smiles* Thanks for taking us on the Llano Art Studio Tour!
