SAINT THERESA

On Saturday last our store was graced by the sweet and talented Theresa of Garden Antqs Vintage. I was so sad that I wasn't there to meet her,(I have loved her blog for a long time) but Ron got to meet her and experience her delightful, joyful, enthusiastic (his words) personality. I am a pack rat. Okay, so now it's out. I save things, Ron would say HOARD. So maybe it's true, maybe I am a hoarder, but at least I hoard good stuff. And I have been trying to use up some of my stash (so I can make room for more, but don't tell Ron). I used some of my salvaged lace scraps to cover this vanity bench. I was going to keep it, but decided to sell it, so it's in the shop now, but the pics were taken at home.

    OK Llano is one of Hubby's favorite places because of Cooper's (of course) but, now I HAVE A REASON to need to come to Llano. I am sure I will see you in the next month or so as we are always seeming to head south. Can't wait. By the way... glad I found you at Theresa's or I never would have known about you.     Oh Binky... I went back to read more on your blog & the Art Studio Tour swept me away. Tell me more... once a year? But, do you know these people & maybe we could sneek in not on tour if I came down for the weekend???? Soooooooooooooo glad I found you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I love what you did with that Bench Binky... and I confess, I'm a Hoarder of Beautiful things as well, much to the chagrin of The Man, Kids and G-Kids... they say I shall have to outlive them all because nobody wants to have to wade through all my lovelies after I'm gone. *smiles* Right now I am in major Edit & Purge mode... I have a rule that stuff can come in only if stuff also goes out from time to time, so I totally 'get' your parting with the Bench even though it was tempting to keep when it turns out so well. BTW I was totally distracted by your beautiful Persian Carpet in Photo #2! *LOL*
