HOMESTEAD CLOSING

All good things must end, or so they say. Tim and Carol Bolton have sold the wonderful old building that houses HOMESTEAD and the building must be vacated soon. Tim is discounting merchandise, so stop in soon.

Ron and I are off to Dallas for the wholesale Home and Gift show. We are hoping to find some wonderful Halloween and Christmas decor and some fun jewelry and gifts. We'll keep ya posted!!!

HATS OFF

This is what I have been doing lately - making hats for my sweet friend Maryrose Monroe (isn't that a fabulous name?) She has an accessories line that includes hair bands, hats, flowers, etc. I was so flattered that she asked me to help her design some hats for her line. INDEPENDENCE

The Fourth of July is fast approaching and we have devoted an area of the shop to celebrate INDEPENDENCE!!!! We have faded vintage flags, and all manner of things red, white and blue, and some classic Americana, like Raggedy Ann and Andy. So start thinking about your July 4th celebration and stop in and see if we can help you make it more beautiful!!!

STORE FLUFF UP AND NEW FINDS!!!!

We have fluffed and redone and brought in some new finds. Stop in and take a peek around.

Here is the redo of our pastel area, with the cute yellow, pink and white dresser we just brought in. The yellow tutu is hanging over a light fixture.

Another wonderful white vintage tutu shown with a vintage peach rayon bed jacket. The dresser they are displayed on is a victorian piece with wonderful original pink crackled paint!!!
